We had a unique and extra special experience staying at Asile Flottant. The converted canal boat was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were large and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities worked well. It was a lovely environment to come back to after a busy day exploring the city. The location, with its gorgeous views of the water, provided a peaceful refuge away from the bustling tourist areas. The staff were wonderfully responsive and were really nice too ensure our comfort. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great, with easy access to the city centre and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The beds were comfortable and the heaters worked well to keep the boat warm. The large table was a nice feature, allowing us to all sit together. The cinema room looked cool, even though we didn't have time to use it.
The bedrooms were small, but that was to be expected for a boat stay. The boat we stayed in had some issues with the heating, as it was still cold even with it on all day.

this stay at a floating boat in Amsterdam exceeded my expectations! The boat was clean and comfortable, with a great bath. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the ferry that brings you to Amsterdam Centraal. Plus, we could swim in the dock! Highly recommend!
Better access to the water would be appreciated.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Asile Flottant in Amsterdam. The boat was spacious and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The surrounding area was vibrant with a nearby cafe bar and bakery, and I especially enjoyed the short walk to the supermarket. The boat itself was clean and well-furnished, providing everything I needed. I felt safe with the gate code for entry and loved being able to swim and relax outside. The sauna was a wonderful bonus that added a touch of luxury to my stay.
As for the cons, I would have preferred carpeted floors on the lower deck as they were quite cold. However, this small detail did not detract from the overall exceptional experience.

We had the most amazing stay at a gorgeous boat apartment for a romantic weekend getaway. The interior was beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfy. There were plenty of amenities within walking distance and a short walk to the ferry. The personalized sign and champagne greeting from Aneta made our stay extra special. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a nice stay.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from the central station. We enjoyed the lovely views from the boat, and even had the option to go for a swim. the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we loved the large table where we could all sit together. the heaters made the boat warm in no time, which was perfect for the chilly winter weather.
One thing we disliked was the lack of carpet on the lower deck, as the floors were quite cold. we were a bit taken aback by a faint smell of engine oil when we first entered, although it faded after a few minutes.

We were initially worried about the lack of kitchen appliances, but we quickly adapted and enjoyed the local Eritrean take-out. The three stories of ladders and stairs added to the adventure. The surrounding area had a unique vibe with a sustainable education walk and a lovely cafe nearby. The hosts were friendly and attentive to our needs.

Great location with many nearby restaurants and a relaxing atmosphere. Walkable to ferry and city center. Spacious rooms, good water pressure, and heaters. Reserved parking provided a sense of security. Starry skies, interacting with local wildlife, and a beer on the boat were delightful experiences.

The location of the boat was nice and quiet, with easy access to the bus and a short walk to a free boat crossing. We also appreciated the proximity to local shops and restaurants. Despite the negatives, the boat itself was quite amazing. Although it was a bit cramped for four people, we loved the cozy beds, clean bathroom, and the comfortable living space where we could hang out.
The boat was freezing even with the heating on all day, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. The small bath was expected, but the constant pump going off during the night was incredibly annoying and kept us awake for hours!

We got great value for our money at Asile Flottant. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect - not too far from the city but still tucked away in a nice area. The staff treated us with kindness and even baked fresh croissants for us in the bar.
The morning meal could use a little improvement with more variety.

The boat for two that we stayed in was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with interesting attractions like the sustainability project De Ceuvel nearby. It was also conveniently located near a bike rental and a ferry to Amsterdam Central Station, making it easy to explore the city. We were warmly welcomed by Aneta, who gave us great tips and made us feel right at home. The project of preserving these historic boats is commendable. We will definitely be returning!
